Celebrate the vibrant spirit of the LGBTQ+ community at the SaMo PRIDE Festival with our captivating "Colors of PRIDE" photobooth installations. Designed by talented LGBTQ+ artists, these installations are a must-visit attraction at the festival. Throughout the event, you can stop by these interactive photobooths, located across the festival grounds, to capture your special moments. Each photobooth is equipped with exciting props that add a playful touch to your photos. What makes these installations truly extraordinary is that the photos taken at each booth will be combined to create a magnificent photographic mosaic. This mosaic represents the unity and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community, showcasing the array of colors that make up the iconic PRIDE flag. SaMo PRIDE FESTIVAL

Third Street Promenade | Santa Monica Pier | Santa Monica Place
Kick-off SaMo PRIDE month on June 3, 2023, with the SaMo PRIDE Festival! The festival will turn the entire downtown district, from the Third Street Promenade through Santa Monica Place to the Santa Monica Pier, into a PRIDE zone.
All ages are welcome to enjoy live musical performances, PRIDE-related treats, free swag, games, and much more. Make sure to stop by our photo booth experience, titled “Colors of Pride” to get your photo taken as a memento from the day.
There will be local organizations, businesses and retailers offering information, services, and special Pride deals.
Bring your friends and family. This is a FREE event for all ages!

Please join us at City Hall when Council will officially recognize June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month in Santa Monica with a proclamation.The City’s PRIDE Proclamation, written and presented in person by celebrated author, two-time Lambda Award finalist and professor at Santa Monica College, Ryka Aoki. The proclamation serves as a powerful declaration of the city's support for the LGBTQ+ community, its commitment to promoting equality and inclusion, and its dedication to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals. To further embrace the city’s core values of equity and inclusion, SaMo PRIDE was established in 2019 as a city-wide partnership between the City of Santa Monica, Downtown Santa Monica, Inc., Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica Place and Santa Monica Travel and Tourism dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and providing a platform to champion individuality and acceptance. Since its inaugural year, SaMo PRIDE has evolved into a rich community tradition with, events and activities for all ages that encapsulate the city’s inclusive and diverse spirit. Santa Monica Travel & Tourism
Santa Monica Travel & Tourism (SMTT) is a private, non-profit corporation formed in 1982 and is funded by the City of Santa Monica’s general fund and the Tourism Marketing District assessment. Under contract to the City of Santa Monica, the purpose of SMTT is to promote Santa Monica as a conference, business and leisure travel destination.
